Not necessarily. One would be to prevent further blood loss - the other can happen even with minimal blood loss.
Heard on Fox that some clips may hold 17 rounds. This guy must have been very well trained to get off that many rounds, reload quickly, and not get jumped. Plus he lock the doors with chains. He was prepared.
I know that if I lost it and snapped and started to hurt innocents with the gun that I bought for protection, the rational part of me that was left, would be grateful to anyone who would shoot me and stop me before I hurt someone.
It makes no sense to disarm the public, none.
We should be handing out guns and knives on planes instead of taking them away. Stupid.
Not sure if there’s a way to verify it’s his myspace site or some impostor.
He says his sign is Aquarius on myspace, so I went to Wikipedia to try to find the month he was born, but one isn’t listed, so I couldn’t do a match.
Inviting the Devil
I have after market 17 round mags for my Ruger.
THis is a victim. It has been confirmed that the shooter (if only one) was Asian American
CNN is hinting at two shooters.
Get every available LEO on the opposite side of the campus....walk into a dorm 1 mile away...chain the doors (premeditation) and start killing people like fish in a barrel
ANd before September 11th, flying airplanes into buildings didn’t fit the profile either. A profile is nothing more than a history of how a group has acted in the past. To claim that “islamic terrorists” in general have a specific profile is ridiculous as there are so many groups covered by the phrase “islamic terrorists”.
If my memory serves me correct, in the past years on college campuses we have had one or two islamic terrorists run people over with cars and one try to blow-up a football game (OK v. K. State). I don’t think either of these fit a profile for islamic terror up until that point either, but if they happen again, people will instantly associate those acts with Islamic terror.
But, at what point does a profile emerge? Do we need ten killers? Eleven? What about the DC snipers combined with the Utah shooter? How about groups in Iraq kidnapping and executing people trying to join Iraqi police forces?
It seems that the only common thread to islam is massive killing and if Allah is particularly kind to the murderers, then the killings are in the bloodiest manner possible. That is the profile of islamic terror.
Sudden Jihad Syndrome?
“Asian” is the BBC’s code for Muslim.

Two handguns with 30 round magazines would not have had to reload, especially if you consider the 9mm’s deserved reputation for overpenetration.
Not "anti-Rudy," anti-gun-control and anti-abortion.
If you don't think this event is going to be politicized, you're rather naive.
You're correct about that one -- I hadn't recalled it. Perhaps there are some more out there that I cannot recall.
FWIW, the Columbine shootings occurred despite the fact that the armed security guard at the school had actually exchanged shots with Harris and/or Klebold. Seeing as how they planned to die anyway, the presence of armed officers seems not to have deterred them.
Bottom line is that it's probably not reasonable to ascribe normal human responses to people who are out to kill as many as possible before they commit suicide.
after every one of these incidents, the same thing is said - “oh they will take security more seriously now”. it never happens. people don’t want to be “incovenienced” by security measures, the campus security forces consist of $10 an hour “rent-a-cops”, etc, etc.
decoy - good thought
So therefore Terrorism never took place in N. Ireland because the bombers were not Muslim?
What about the Olympic Park Bombing in 1996?
Was Eric Robert Rudolph a terrorist?
The shooter(s) at VA Tech no matter their faith are Terrorists.
