And not a damn one of them could be legally armed. By liberal edict, and feel good legislation, the damn government restricted the ability for willing, armed, law-abiding citizens to possibly either stop, or mitigate the carnage.
I spit on gun grabbers and liberals.
I’m trying to follow all the news and posts related to this massacre. One of my first thoughts, usually and today, is why no one fought back? Maybe because, like you said, other students weren’t armed. Also, I think this feel good society we live in now, can’t offend anyone, have to teach children their self esteem is the most important thing ever, it’s best to not fight back, etc., leads to people to not stand up and fight back. We’re told to teach our kids, and follow it ourselves, not to resist an attempted assault or whatever. Almost like we can’t defend ourselves because it’s the “wrong” thing to do.
Another point, these are adults, college students are legally adults. Why do we continue to call them kids/children? Why do we keep upping the age for adulthood and all the responsibility and accountability that goes along with it? Sure, when I was a college student I wasn’t as mature as I am now, but I sure wasn’t a child. I guess I’d rather die fighting than let someone pick me off. I don’t carry a weapon, but have one in my home. I’m damned happy that others carry them just like I’m happy we have the Military we have.
