There apparently weren’t any members of the Cadet Corps around. If there had been, the casualty numbers would be far lower — although they might be comprised entirely of cadets. Every cadet I knew would have crawled through broken glass on the bloody stumps of their legs to kill the shooter with their bare hands rather than let something like this happen.

Yeah, I fully get that.

I just can’t understand the left’s ridiculous position (2nd amendment aside) that gun laws would stop this type of incident, rather than make it worse.

Had a few students been armed, this mofo gets 2 holes in his head and the problem is solved.

Virginia Military Institute has the cadet corps. Virginia Tech is the university with an engineering focus. Two different schools.
