Isn’t the Roanoke Times the outfit that published the names of all local CCW holders?

If you go to the website, it appears as though they are exchange students. I’m judging by their names and their writing style and spelling.......

Virginia Tech is a “gun free zone.”
This verifies what John Lott has always said - the people who commit mass public shootings prefer to do them at “gun free zones.”
Just last week, it was reported in the news that this school is a “gun free zone.”
This week, a guy came by and shot and killed 21 people.
This is a good argument against gun control. Most areas in Virginia allow law abiding citizens to carry concealed handguns, and those areas are very safe. The people who do these kinds of mass public shootings prefer “gun free” areas, where their victims are unable to defend themselves.

Virginia Tech’s ban on guns may draw legal fire Some people question whether the university has the authority to ban the carrying of firearms. How about you?
By Kevin Miller
BLACKSBURG - Virginia Tech’s recent action against a student caught carrying a gun to class could draw unwanted attention from groups already angry about firearms restrictions on public college campuses.
Tech’s ban on guns dates back several decades.

I've been trying since you posted your link to have a look at it. It won't download for me.
Thanks, I'll try again later.

Virginia Tech spokesman Larry Hincker was happy to hear the bill was defeated. “I’m sure the university community is appreciative of the General Assembly’s actions because this will help parents, students, faculty and visitors feel safe on our campus.”
The bill:
HB 1572, which would have allowed handguns on college campuses, died in subcommittee.
This tragic event WILL be used to push the NEW AWB and further gun control legislation...

Thank you. I was looking for information about the shooter on the net and ran across it. I was also reading from a site at the Telegraph. Here's what one idiot said.....
Guns or firearms offences are massive in America, and this is only so as the presence and availability is high. Take away the right to bear arms, and it will naturally diminish. Unbelievable stupidity.

It finallly worked, thanks.
A lot of our friends live in [West Ambler Johnston Hall] and we heard that a girl got shot and killed in the stairwell, and that it was, like, 7:15 [a.m.].
A monster is the only way to describe the shooter.
I wonder if they'll reverse HB 1572 and let students carry now?

Pacifist liberal sheeple get slaughtered by exposure to real world evil. Memo to the wing-nuts like Dennnis "Kook" Kucinich: its not your Department Of Peace that will stop violence on earth. Its decent armed folk who can stop a murderer before many innocent lives are taken. These folks never do learn from tragedies like this one.

I just cruised by the brady bunches web site... nothing yet, probably still wringing their hands and scheming...

That quote almost makes it sound as if they expect some kind of violence from gun enthusiasts. I suppose Sarah Brady and her ilk will be sounding off any second now.
