My recollection from reading the NICS forms is that the disqualifier is being *adjudicated in a court of law* to be mentally ill within the last 3 or 5 years (??).

Not going to a marriage counselor of taking Ambien for sleeping.

Court adjudication of mental illness should be entered into NICS records.

Why didn;t that happen?

Thanks for that info, CNN just had the Justice that took care of this ct case, he would only talk in generalities, and said that since he stayed in hospt voluntarily, it would not be a part of his official state record.

I think that is correct, (don’t quote me,lol).

Should be interesting to get more info.
