I’m coming into this thread from the back door, so my first thought may well have been brought up already - it’s my guess that his “manifesto”, and probably the photos were already in police hands....95% chance he composed it all on his computer, which has been in police hands since Monday.
If this is the case, what showed up at NBC is nothing new to authorities.
I think of the Heisenberg Principle here: could NBC making copies of the submitted media potentially interfere with the investigation - perhaps in a physical, forensic sense?
