Russia sternly warns US not to push through Kosovo independence plan

MOSCOW-Russia's U.N. envoy on Wednesday warned the United States against trying to put a Western-backed independence plan for Kosovo to a vote, saying it would split the U.N. Security Council and create deadlock on the issue.

Vitaly Churkin said Russia continues to strongly oppose the plan proposed by U.N. special envoy Martti Ahtissari that would give independence to Kosovo, which has been a U.N. protectorate since 1999.

Churkin warned that Russia, which is a permanent member of the Security Council with veto power, was prepared to take any action necessary to block the plan, although he stopped short of saying that Moscow would veto the proposal.....

It is most likely Russian rhetoric, but for the sake of the remaining Serbs in Kosovo, I pray to God that it is not. Because otherwise, all 100,000 of them are goners.

We definitely need to make a deal concerning Iran, perhaps there is something we could do for Russia concerning Serbia/Kosovo.

Phooey. As far as I'm concerned, helping to get rid of Slobbo was one of the few good things Clinton did. Or was the invasion of Iraq illegal, too?

Putin is upset at the idea of former Soviet colonies like Poland and Czechoslovakia becoming part of our missile defense. He wants to rebuild the Soviet empire and doesn't give a damn about Serbia or Kosovo. The Russians have no cause to dictate foreign policy to the US. All the apologists for the dead ex-communist thug can take a hike.

quote: “Marx, a German, got his ideas from British socialists who wrote on the subject, and then wanted it to take hold in Russia”.

Not exactly right. Marx could never assume that communist ideas would be implemented in Russia before any Western European country. Actually it was Lenin’s, not Marx’s plan. Marx considered Russia underdeveloped economically and therefore - politically, and immature for so radical changes.

doesn't give a damn about Serbia or Kosovo.

It is what Germans and Austrians were thinking in 1914.

Would you support Bosnian Serbs separating from BH and either joining Serbia or creating their own country too?

I don’t remember whether I ever expressed support for separatism of any kind.

We started the Jihad in Bosnia. We U.S. under Bush; then Clinton took the MUH from Afghanistan after the Soviets pulled out and took 10,000 -/+ and stirred up trouble in Bosnia. Milo responded with the paramilitaries and yes, they came down hard. There were NO Rape Camps...There was not 8,000 Muslims Massacred. I even recently spoke with an Army Medic that helped pull out about 800 bodies, and confirmed to my surprise that most had military uniforms. We lied about the 8,000, we lied about the 100,000, then changed to 10,000 K-Albanians massacred...to find only 2,108 bodies whose cause of death is very questionable....as to who was the cause.

Slobo was approached by the CIA in the late 80’s when he visited NY, to understudy being a banker. He returned to Serbia as a presidential candidate. It’s not clear whether he had a mission or he turned away from the CIA and became a nationalist, and no longer an asset.

Clinton was a weasel lying and perpetrating the war, he was a weasel from start to finish as was Clark, Burns, Holbrooke, the list goes on and on. Granted, Serbian paramilitaries did commit crimes, and those that did should be punished. However, in Exactly the same vein, Ceku, Ramush, and Thaqi needs to go before the court for the same reasons....however, they became key Political leaders and at the same time supported by us even though associated with the Albanian Mafia, deep deep deep. I know because I have seen the actual structure of the families throughout Kosovo that existed from 1999 to 2002....A UN Security Person showed me the chart. We have allowed the systamatic murder of innocent Serbian men, women, elderly, and children since 1999 right up to recent......US Army personnel that was disgusted with the higher up support would tell me over a cup of coffee. This is the truth and non-politically correct events.

Saddam was a CIA asset brought in to take care of the Ayatollah after the Shah left. The Military Industrial Complex sold him the chemicals and weapons to kill Iranians and Kurds......We have a dark past that goes back at least to WWI......and has continued. It is time we come to face the truth. Now, before you flame back I suggest that you research this....and then retort. It took me 9 years to come to grips with this ugly truth.

1) You are correct in that Slobo was not a good leader to Serbs or anybody nearby. However, the Hague has asserted power over other sovereign countries and yet the US doesn’t recognize the Hague’s authority whatsoever over the US. So, where it the incentive to “follow the rules”?

2) The way your boy Clinton removed Slobo is what I question. It’s the way your Balkan hero Clinton bumped shoulders with BinLaden in Bosnia is what I question. The way your drinking buddy Clinton allowed Islamic Mujihadins into Bosnia and armed them via Iran is what I question. It’s the way Clinton bombed a Christian nation on Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday is what I question then at the same time NATO allows the NAZI MUSLIMS a war break during Ramadan. Why didn’t they bomb during Ramadan if war is war? Doesn’t that show a religious preference? Pro Muslim? Pro NAZI Muslim? They showed more respect to terrorists than Serbs who invaded no country and never killed ANY Americans.

It’s the way that Germany upheld her old Nazi allies against her traditional enemies the Serbs is what I question. If the answer to alleged Serbian atrocities was to dismantle Yugoslavia then why is Germany still a country?

3) You say Russia is angry that she has no more influence in the Balkans, but I say Germany is happy that her Nazi friends have gained more territory than they ever have through this illegal destruction of the Serbian nation that was wrapped in the democracy package.

Does it bother you that Germany is asserting her power over Europe again? Does it bother you that Germany has forced the EU constitution because is serves Germany more favorably than others? Remember whan France had to reject the EU constitution twice? Why? Because Germany was angry at France for rejecting it and demanded a re vote. Same old Germans.

Does it bother you that Germany was the first to start the war in Yugoslavia by supporting Nazi Croatian factions? Does it bother you that the man responsible for wanting to separate Kosovo from Serbia has no authority to do so and he is expressed sympathetic feeling toward the Nazi SS troops who invaded and died in Russia? He wanted to build them a monument.

You are still stuck in the cold war mentality my friend and all you see is Russia as an enemy. The fact is, if WE would have supported Russia more during her transition to Democracy I don’t think we would have had a Putin in office. I don’t think they would have worked with Iran the way they have.

But, the intent was to smash Russia through “democratic Change”. Dismantle her just like the Serbs, to gain control and power over resources and ports.

Again, cold war mentality. On the other hand, Germany is positioning herself with Russia better than the US because Germany is politically smarter. Germany has just screwed the US out of a huge energy deal with Russia. Does that bother you?

4) Bombing the Nazi Muslims in Iraq is the best thing this president has ever done. Nazi Muslims were the problem in Bosnia and they are the problem in Iraq too. I would be willing to bet that you may even find some of the same terrorists that kill our troops in Iraq the same damn people that your boy Clinton armed in Bosnia. They all help each other. That’s what being a Mujahadin is all about.

5) (First of all, Serbia is not Iraq) You need to think a little more independent than that. Don’t paint it all with the same brush. You are absolutely correct that Russia doesn’t give a damn about Serbia. Maybe during WWI there was some help but only from certain areas of Russia like Belarus. Russia is not going to go to war for a little scrap of meat like Kosovo. They will bark just like they barked during the illegal bombing.

However, Germany would and has but why? Because they could not because they should. They bombed Serbs back to the 1800’s to hold up Kosovo and Bosnia as a little token that shows they have nothing against Islam in general.

Today, Russia is worried about Russia. She is yet again trying to reasserting her influence over the former territories. However, at the same time, Germany is doing no less. Germany want’s to control Europe and Eastward. She needs to. Energy. Germany wants to be the energy hub for Europe from Russia. If she can help it she would love to cut Russia out of the picture, but for now they have to work with Russia. Germany is positioning herself in the event that Russia does fall apart like Yugoslavia.

Justice, that’s all I want. By the way, Serbia was quitted of genocide against the Muslims. There was no evidence. Even in that court.

Phooey indeed, considering Serbs were trying to get rid of him on the political front without NATO bombs. You need to brush up on reality.

You forgot to mention that Soviet revolution was bankrolled by American bankers....

Well I'm only 18, I don't know everything about Russian history ;)

Was it really bankrolled by US bankers? Wow, the stuff they don't teach us in public school...

The Bankers!

Now then, all you'll ever need to do in this life can be summed up in three rules:

Deny responsibility.
Attempt to shift blame.
Make counteraccusations.

Your education is now complete - we just had to keep you off the streets until you were 18.

I hope you understand.

If you'll excuse me now, I have to go back to the vault and roll around in a pile of $100 bills.

Is that the Dhimmi way of denying how Islamic Jihad has actually been the primary cause of trouble in the Balkans? Pity for the Dhimmitude cheerleaders with all the truth coming out about the Wahhabists and al Qaeda.
