I just returned from a trip to Moscow with a stopover in Amsterdam.

I can assure you that Jewish life in Europe is alive and thriving.

Yiddish theater is not doing so well. I went to a Yiddish theater performance once, about 20 years ago in Los Angeles. It was, eh.
