Speaking of ABC, last night on Fox’s Special Edition Brit said that Fred Thompson had signed a contract with ABC to do commentary, elicting a gasp from Mara. Anyone else hear that?

If he’s going to work for ABC, it would mean he’s NOT running for President. Mara, by the way, made a remark that he doesn’t like to work hard. Someone else said its just that he doesn’t like to campaign.

This whole thing about Fred not liking to work hard may be a very good thing.

Most of the type A personalities at his high level work far, far too much. Too many responsibilities, too many hours, too little time for worship, relaxation, and enjoying life.

I feel very good about a man who knows what his boundaries are and doesn’t feel he has to be a workaholic to have a strong work ethic.

Working to hard or too many hours is just as bad for you, and just as immoral, as not working enough.

Doing a little research, I find that Fred signed with ABC last year in February 2006 to do commentary and replace Paul Harvey on occasion. That we know as we’ve heard him giving great commentaries. What Brit mentioned sounded new.
