I think this is good news. Allows Rice to now go after Wilson and these cliams that Iraq never tried to get Yellowcake. I think this is a mistake by the Dems.
I agree. Rice needs to go in there and say on the record that Joe Wilson is a liar and they need to be investigating why he lied and get back to the administration when they have some answers on why Wilson lied.
I think you may be underestimating the ability of democrats to obfuscate under cover of the media. I don’t think this is a mistake by the dems.
That would be gratifying and probably good for the country. But George Bush will never let it happen. He has had what--four years? -- to skewer this canard, and done absolutely nothing. In his weird masochistic/sacrificial turn-the-other-cheekish mode, he will not stoop to truth if it means denigrating an opponent.
