Yeah, I’ve been watching it closely for the last couple years. My specialist wants to make sure I don’t cross over that threshold for cochlear implants.

Earthdweller, just thought I’d stop by to tell you that my husband just got his 2 aids a couple of months ago. He had another set that he really despised, and wouldn’t wear them, but now after having been retested he has another set and seems to be adjusting quite well. If this is your husbands first experience with them, tell him to be patient——it does take awhile. If he finds he just cannot adjust to them you might have him try a different type. Believe me my husband was just horrible about having to wear them, but now he’s doing quite well. Good luck to him.

Some troll (nasty little gremlin) said 'the clock was ticking' on me, and then bragged that I had 'opused' out. It was very odd, and he was a newbie, most likely DU troll.
I was I was leaving the THREAD, because I had been battling there for two days and it was becoming a waste of time to say the same things to some new jerk.
I never, ever said I was leaving FR. I've THOUGHT about it multiple times because there are so many nutcases and Bush haters running rampant, but leaving FR means leaving too many wonderful people and I'm not about to do that.
btw, if I get banned, it would be an absurdity (though MANY people warned me to 'be careful' on 'that thread.' But it ain't gonna happen.........if JimRob bans me, he'll be banning as solid a conservative (I mean REALLY, not just pseudo) as posts on this forum.

just don’t know how anyone’s going to stay. It’s getting nastier by the day and it’s a really long time until the primaries. It’s gotten so ridiculous on FR.
Remember what President Bush says... you are either with us or against us. Many many many many of us still support and love President Bush! Their are a select few that love to stir the skillet, and even more that come from their home at du and moveon. Their home is not very friendly. :)

It’s not even just about supporting or not supporting President Bush anymore. That used to be my only problem, that there were quite a few people who loved to express their disdain for the President. But that’s not it anymore. Everything has changed around here.
