President Bush has tried to improve his
speech delivery and he’s made great strides
forward since 2000. But when he get excited
about a subject, or begins to feel he’s
losing his train of thought, he reverts to
the Texas twang. It’s not a phoney jump-
shift in the vernacular as Hillary uses it;
Bush’s throw-back to the drawl is unconscious.
Hillary’s southern ‘style’ is deliberate with
a purpose to enthrall her Black audience...
and possibly her husband.
And let us all remember that picking up on a regional dialect in a conversation is much different than trying to affect that dialect when delivering a speech.
I was speaking to some Australians about a month ago and had to catch myself before I started doing my faux-Aussie imitation, but there would be no chance at all that I’d start changing my speech pattern if I was simply delivering a scripted and prepared speech to a group of Aussies.
We need to make sure that the pro-Hill-dawg Lefties can’t get away witrh their false analogy.

I love President Bush, but I think he can use the king’s English that got him invited to stay at Buckinham palace and switches into Texas to appeal to the folks.
