The so-called increase in fouls called against black players was between 2.5-4.5%.

That is a meaningless statistic since even if it was a very professionally done study (which I doubt) 2.5-4.5% would most likely fall into the margin of error.

In addition, a study like this doesn’t take into consideration the characteristics of each individual player. Things such as some players regardless of skin color are more agressive than others and therefore will be called for more fouls.

This is just more B.S. from the left. The next thing you know, Brian Ross of ABC will have a report claiming that these “racist” officials are all Republicans.

This statistic is not meaningless. Even though the number 2.5% is so small, the fact that the sample space is SO LARGE (600,000 fouls analyzed), this makes the data statistically significant and outside the margin of error.

If you read the paper, you will see that they prove this to be true using common statistical methods which have been used for decades.
