I think Mathews is just trying to fish up quotes that Democrats can use against whichever Republican gets the nomination.

GO HUNTER GO! Looking Presidential.

My thoughts exactly. Still prefer Fred Thompson, though.

Long time reader — just finally set up an account tonight.

How on earth do you guys keep up with these live threads? I’m stuck on a modem and just can’t keep up, lol.

BTW, I liked Romney’s comment about polls.

ROFL! Seems to be a campaign commercial for John McLame.

He is the Dennis Kucinich of the GOP but he is well liked by the Libertarian-leaning Pubbies.

Some of his ideas are very good.

McCain is quite nervous, that surprises me. He is relaxing a little now.

Huckabee is a good debater, and a smooth talking ExPreacher.

Listen to what he says, not how he says it..

I thought Brownback was rambly...

I agree. Purely on form, he's coming off the worst of all of them to me. Not too great on substance, either. I already see him as one of the bigger losers in this debate.

Of course, Brownback's loss could be Hunter's gain.

“Did Hunter get a question?”

One quick one, so far.

Just got back- so far I’m hearing a lot more grownups here than at the Dem debate.

Massachusetts can elect a Republican governor, he’s not the first but only to battle the dems....Kenned, Kerry, etc.!
