Fast Facts

Officials said this is more of a "homegrown" plot with no ties to al Qaeda or any other international terrorist organization, CBS News reports.

(CBS/AP) Six nationals of the former Yugoslavia were arrested early Tuesday on charges they plotted to attack the Fort Dix Army base and "kill as many soldiers as possible," federal authorities said.

The six were scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court in Camden later Tuesday to face charges of conspiracy to kill U.S. servicemen, said Michael Drewniak, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office in New Jersey. Five of them lived in Cherry Hill, he said.

Cherry Hill is OK, but not as exclusive as Haddonfield, let alone portions of Montgomery County over on the other side of the Delaware.

Cherry Hill also has a large Jewish population. I seem to remember a sizeable Al Qaeda cell in Boca Raton, which has the largest (per capita) Jewish population in Florida. Is it that the Islamonazis want to be close to Jews, or it it that they are so stupid as to believe that the only place where chosen people live is in New York City? Methinks their choices of location are nefarious in intention.

a friend wrote this and I’m going to share his observation...

Quote:

“Coincidental Denialists believes that there are no conspiracies and no criminality can ever be ascribed to anyone inside government or America’s venerated institutions. It is an article of faith and just like many religions of the world, empirical evidence must be explained away in order to support the religious institution of Americanism. It is a religion that, through inaction and willful blindness, supports corruption at the highest levels and attacks proponents of other belief systems, such as those who have read history.”

It appears that you have some explaining to do my good friend.

Remember, you’re the one that pointed out that the status of Kosovo would be resolved in January (2007). Right(?) or am I’m correct?

Yah. I know, sadly. They even have my daughter convinced it’s a losing effort. I told her she’s getting someone’s OPINION of the news, and not the NEWS! Ahwell...she’s too big to put in a corner. ;o]

I note that the Duka family went out of their way to befriend the Levine family down the street. Like owning puppies, drinking beer and going to strip clubs these seem to be camouflage tactics advocated by Al-Qaeda training material.

Funny, every news report this morning states “no association with Al Queda” (sp), however Fox stated that the group of MUSLIMS got all of their inspiration from the group.

History shows that dancing around this will most definitely get citizens killed! Bush is not the man to handle this. Who is? Haven’t a clue.

You are free to research the matter yourself and direct my attention to the posts you're concerned with.

Our leaders and media are still in denial about Islam and wide open borders.

“I just watched the report not once did I hear the words Islam,Islamic terrorist, Muslim or religion. They also pushed the “Home Grown” farce.”

That’s right. The convert notion was originally put forth in this story. That is to lead us to believe that muslims by birth do not have a propensity to violence - the theory being that converts are more radical...I don’t buy it.

“How the hell do you get “home grown” from a group of people from Jordan, Turkey, and Yugoslavia or Albania when only one was a citizen, three where illegal aliens and two where “legal” residents.”

Again, another attempt to deceive us. Illegal aliens, muslims...

The problem with leaders who refuse to see the truth goes beyond oil and Corporate America. Over 1,400 years of bloody history is being ignored...naivete? arrogance? I don’t know, but it is a disturbing trend.

[”You are free to research the matter yourself...”]

I think the best idea is that I TOO should use my selective memory and forget. In so doing, neither you nor I would have the need to quibble about the predictions of what was going to happen last January (2007).

So you're upset about something I said without knowing what I actually said?

Good for you - seems about par for the course around here.

I shouldn't have to. You can do it yourself.

In fact, I’m surprised that I even have to make such a comment and/or post.

I shouldn't have to.

Yeah, you should.

And not only should you, but you're going to have to, regardless of how surprising it is to be required to meet the burden of proof when you make an accusation, because until you do, I'm done wasting any more time on this.

Well, you should have taken my advice back on #149, Hoplite.

Having said that that, did you or did you not make a prediction (either implied or real) on the status of Kosovo prior to the elections in Serbia in January 2007?

Just a simple “Yes” or “No” would suffice.

Hoplite has issues answering direct questions, you can see when cornered his usual MO is to simply say “I’m done with this”. Its his standard cop out.

Yes. It’s also interesting how “rumor” and “innuendo” can spread.

Gosh, I wonder who the nameless individual is that’s being referred to in post #4 on this link (?):

I think the field of suspects is rather narrow in this regard and it doesn’t necessarily require an over abundance of critical thinking prowess to figure out the subject in question. Some noses stick out substantially further than others.

Correct...which begs the question as to why I should have to search for something that’s already known.
