I’m not sure she got banned on any thread. It might have been through freepmail, or I just didn’t see it. After all, the bug zapper thread was a monster 18k thread beast and she didn’t even post that comment on it, it was posted elsewhere. But that statement got JimRob kinda steamed, IIRC.
If you had a single brain cell or any character, you would have read my previous statements of support for Duncan Hunter (who I contribute to even at this stage). He does not appreciate the trashing of other Republicans and because I don't join the demonization of Rudi G. does not mean I "support" him.
I find it strange so much time and energy is spent on garbage threads like this without advocating for another candidate.
Censor conservative Republicans? Not hardly. On Free Republic, we've always trashed every liberal supporter who has made the mistake of supporting a liberal here. And we've done it pretty mercilessly. There's thousands of zotted threads and even more zotted posters who had their 15 seconds of fame promoting some liberal cause or candidate. The only thing new is that a bunch of long time FReepers decided to swill the KoolAid and support a Republican liberal named Rudy Giuliani. He's still a liberal no matter what letter comes after his name and those who support him are still supporting a liberal.
To make things even more clear, the owner of this forum has announced the effort to "swiftboat" Giuliani and his campaign. If you go to the main forum page, look at the link just above the threads. You'll see it is a special link put there by Jim Robinson that says, "The Giuliani Truth File - Rudy: In his own words and deeds." The purpose of the link is to aggregate stories about Giuliani and his own statements that Free Republic can use AGAINST Giuliani to ruin his campaign and his chances at gaining the Republican nomination. Can it get any clearer than that?
As I said, FReepers have pretty much been given the choice to get with the program, get out of the way of that program, or they can choose to just get out.
Recent FReeper, jedward, took it upon himself to create a STOP RUDY NOW thread to further the effort to "swiftboat" Giuliani. This is fully in line with Jim Robinson's statement that such "swiftboating" will eventually have to be taken on at separate sites as a more firm organization emerges. But then a bunch of Rudybots swarmed the thread and disrupted it. You and Chena are playing some game, trying to take jedward down with a bunch of unsubstantiated innuendo. If you don't like the thread, then don't read it.

There used to be more. There will probably be even less as time goes on. JimRob has said this is “war for the soul of the GOP”. It’s a bit drastic, but I agree with him.

Thank you. I am definitely a Hunter supporter. I’m glad you are a fellow supporter as well.
I’m sure Duncan Hunter would be somewhat happy that one candidate is out of the way in order that he has more of a chance, but so is the nature of politics.
I think Spiff is a good guy. I believe he has the best interest of this forum at heart. I’m saying this is a conservative forum, and Rudy is a liberal trying to run for the generally conservative GOP. I don’t think conservatives should support liberals, regardless of what letter is next to their name.
Jedward has seemed like a good guy who has helped further conservativism since he got here. I understand the skepticism with new posters, especially due to the group of posters that got banned, though. I don’t know if he was here before or not. He seems sincere so I don’t believe he has been.
I don’t belong to the bug zappers. I’ve been hanging around watching a bit, but I haven’t tried to get anyone banned.
Well, time to hit the hay.

You’re right, Spiff, I don’t like the thread. But it has information in it, and knowledge is power.
Jedward’s writing style is exactly the same as a FReeper who became the “owner” of a long-running thread last summer. The misspellings are the same, the “greetings” are the same, oh and his “friends” are the same. Some FReepers have a tremendous familiarity with “jedward”... from day one of the new identity.
This raises questions in the observers view....
