I think the United States is End-Times irrelevent (iow: not to be involved/able to be involved).
I’m having a very sudden turn around regarding the identity of the end-time city of Babylon.
I was never quite sure where it was... but NEVER took seriously the actual city of Babylon... I vacillated between NYC and some European city...
Over the past year, I’m seeing “Islam” fitting more and more into the End Time and its slowing coming to me that perhaps Babylon, or Babel or Baghdad might actually be it.
I know Al Qaida is gunning for a caliphate based in Iraq with its capital in Babel (really.. Babel).
I always held to a Euro-centric End Time Antichrist empire.. but i’m really questioning that lately.

Now that I think of it, Ithaca, Boston, Atlanta...it's a miracle I'm here on FR! Hey, I'm from Minnesota and I'm on FR. No bigger miracle than that! ;)

modern culture has its roots in ancient
Use Caution when making connections by going back in time.
Logic behind : You go back to your roots, you become your roots. That means 'nothing'.
You watch your own roots grow.....from Below.....a grave.

Monica: That information was interesting.... though when I look up the Hebrew word in Strong’s... I see that the hebrew word is used quite a bit in the OT .. I’m skeptical that Allah is what Dan 9 : 11 meant explicitly.
I’m no Hebrew expert though.. so I’m willing to be pursuaded.

The rest of the document is compelling though. Very very interesting.

Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace. Hoax

Right now,the cities that would most closely fit the immoral description of End-Times Babylon would be [and I'm not sorry if anyone is offended]....You left out the obvious candidate, Jerusalem of AD 70.

I am not offended just surprised. I have nothing but nice things to say about this country (unless I don’t know some stuff that you know). We have an American base on the island and they are constantly assisting us.

Can you build a church?
Convert a Muslim?
Make out with your boyfriend?
etc..
I haven’t been there, but I suspect I know the answer.
