(It is reminiscent of the world-famous Jewish conspiracy, now extended to also include Jews.)

My Bible does not include the New Testament.
And yet... Bibles that include the "New Testament" also contain the commands not to eat unclean animals.
Why is it some people think that they must annul the front 3/4 of their "Bible" with the back 1/4 of their "Bible."
Alouette, knowing the history and theological arguments against Christians keeping kosher is quite enlightening.
Essentially, history supports the idea that it is 100% about anti-Semitism. Christians did not want to be associated with Jews during the first and second revolts in the First and Second Century. They stripped themselves of all identifying characteristics of Judaism to avoid the persecution and taxation of Rome (e.g. Fiscus Judaicus). >
Then they came up with theological arguments why "parts" of the Torah were invalid for them. Funny, it is only the "Jewish" parts. Never do they say, "Jesus fulfilled the Law against lying, therefore I am now free to lie." No, they only say this about "Jewish" identity markers such as kosher, shabbat, moadim, and tzitzit etc.
The English translators of the "New Testament" add words, change verb tenses, etc. in a conserted effort to support supercessionism (replacement theology, where the "church" replaces "Israel") and/or dispensationalism (where the "church" age supercedes the "Israel age".)
It is like spiritual schizophrenia. Weird.
