I have been a freerepublic member for a long time and usually lurk but tonight I find myself in need of your prayers for my unborn son.
During a routine ultrasound at 20 weeks gestation, it appears my little boy's stomach is on his right side rather than his left. The doctor could not give us any more information and is having us see a doctor at the hospital where they have more high tech equipment.
Please pray for this little baby, that all will be well. I have no doubt in the power of prayer. Thank you
Prayers for a healthy baby
Dear inflorida- I know how frightening it must have been to hear that news, my family will pray for the baby, and both of you. Things most often turn out ok, and nighttime is the worst for inducing worry. I have seen many prenatal tests be wrong. This verse has helped me a great deal,
Matthew 6:34 (New International Version)
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Praying that all will be well.
Dear Lord, could you please check on inflorida’s baby. The child is not ready to be born yet, but it appears the tummy might not yet have settled into the spot you have designed for it. Please see that inflorida’s baby is born healthy, with body and senses ready to fully experience the wonders that are your Kingdom on Earth.
Heavenly Father, we thank you that you are a God of infinite grace and mercy who is faithful to His Word. Father, touch this little boy's body and move his organs to their proper place. Give him complete health and strength in every organ and system in his body. Bless him and his mother with a normal, easy birth of a normal, healthy, strong baby!! Father, give them all peace, including this baby. Help them to walk by faith and not by sight, in Jesus blessed name. May Your Name be honored and glorified when the doctors see that there is no explanation for the change, nothing can be disputed on what they first saw and nothing can be disputed when they see the healing and everything in its proper place, normal and healthy. Father, bring about a miracle to demonstrate Your love and faithfulness, in Jesus name. You promise where 2 or more agree in prayer that You will hear and answer, and Father, there are far more than 2 or 3 here in agreement. Thank you Lord! Hallelujah!! Praise the Lord!!
Walk by faith, and not sight, dear FRiend. Do not receive the bad reports, but rebuke them standing on scripture, when the bad reports are spoken. Praise music is a wonderful healing tool, as well.

My prayers are with you. I also know of babies with their heart on the wrong side. And all is fine 17 years later. If my mother listened to doctors, I wouldn’t be here. If I listened to some doctors, I wouldn’t have 4 kids.
My prayers are with you regardless. Sometimes, prayer and God trumps it all. I’m praying for you and your baby.
May our Heavenly Father bless you and your unborn baby and keep you in His healing loving care!!

You and your child are in my prayers. Do you live near a University or teaching hospital with a neonatal unit? If you do have your regular OB set up a consult with a pediatrician who can give you info about surgery or other treatment. The more you know the better prepared you will be to handle any problems.
May the Lord give you peace and shelter you and your child.

My little nephew was born with his guts in his chest. No one realized it until a few days after his birth. They fixed him up alright but his appendix is on the other side. If it ever goes bad, I hope the docs can find it!
