Very briefly I will tell you that if there is an amnesty in this country America as we know will cease to exist in less than a generation.

You, sir, are an incorrigible optimist.

Being sold out has a tendency to depress one’s optimism.

This has been Bush, is father and their fellow globalists plan from the beginning.

Would you believe that our 21-year-old grandson was trying to convince us of this a few years ago? Could it be he zeroed in on the truth before many of us were willing to see the light?

Me? Depressed? Naaahh....

FWIW, we were sold out in the early 90’s when a) the problem was obvious and b) moderate measures consistent with American values of liberty and individual dignity and rights would have worked.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within.

An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known, and he carries his banners openly. But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very hall of government itself.

For the traitor appears no traitor.

He speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their garments, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in hearts of men.He rots the soul of a nation.

He works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city. He infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared.

If you want to hear a really good rant on this garbage amnesty bill, listen to the Ken and John show on KFI 640
on the internet at 3:00 p.m. today (Pacific time). They give a new meaning to the words: TRAITOR REPUBLICANS

In fact, I intend to include a check for very small amount of money (say $0.10) and will warn them that I intend to check their campaign filings with the FEC to ensure that they report it properly.

Got some bad news for you - I checked with an Elections Law attorney last fall to find out why my $50 contributions weren't showing up on the website. They don't have to itemize anything under $200.

To one and all:

Here are some things that might help
1. Call both senators - I found a toll free number (google search) 1-866-220-0044. If the phone bill is an issue then use this number.

2. Find out the number of the Senator’s regional office and give them a call.

3. Call the RNC at 202.863.8500 - There will be options - wait for more options and the prompt to punch in 0. Then when you get to the Chairman option...(7 - I think) give them a piece of your mind. If you have been writing no more money until the border is closed/secured....restate it! If you senator, like Martinez, is not taking your call...let them know that too.

4. Call the State Republican party. They are getting many complaint calls according to the lady with whom I spoke today. If your Senator is on the wrong side of this issue, ask what the state is going to do to straighten out the Senator they supported. If you are not sending money...let them know. If you have stopped volunteering for the party because of the Senator’s action...let them know. If you are tempted to become an independent or something else...let them know. If you have or are considering stepping down from your County Republican Executive Committee..let them know.

5. Contact your local Republican HQ and give them a piece of your mind too (repeat what you told the state)

6. Email your senators

7 Email the RNC at Chairman@gop.com (RNC contact page - http://www.gop.com/ContactUs/ )

8 Email the State party

9 Email the Local Party

10. When you have collected all the numbers and emails for your state/area, then share the wealth. Send an email out to all your friends with all the information to contact the members. If you do the leg work, it might help another decide to act.

11. Sit back and have a nice cool ice tea or beverage of choice because you have done a great service and you deserve some downtime!

That quote by Cicero is right on the money. It was true then, and it’s true now.

thanks for that. On my break I will call those numbers. I called the President’s comment line and left a message letting him know I thought his SHAMnesty bill was a bad bad idea, that I had voted for him twice, and support the War on Terror, but this bill was not good for this country.

Thank you for posting your article. I just got off the phone after talking to the RNC and my senators (Mikulski and Cardin, ptooey!). All they could do was say, "Yes, ma'am... I understand... I will certainly pass your feelings on... Yes, you're concerns are relevant... we've been hearing from everybody on this... thank you..."

I gave them each examples of what illegal immigration has done to my hometown and the "public services" in my area. I told them that rewarding law breakers with AMNESTY and punishing those who try to come here legally was completely unacceptable to me, no ifs, ands or buts. In each of the offices I called, they all sounded very much overwhelmed. I was on hold for several minutes with each of the three I called.

Thank you for this very good information. I just got off the phone with a young gal in the Chairman's office. At first, she tried to argue with me that the illegals do have to go home, until I said that giving them 8-13 years to do so was bogus and would not be followed by the illegals. If they already broke the law to get here, why in the name of all that is holy would they now choose to obey our new laws? I gave her an earful, explaining that big corporations' donations to the party and the candidates won't do a damn bit of good to them at the polls because corporations can't vote; it's little people like me and my family who vote. I told her that if they ram this down the voters' throats, they are guaranteed to lose even more than they lost in 2006 elections. I told her alot more, but won't bore you with the rest.

Thanks again for this valuable phone information.
