Yes, but it’s okay because Rush said statistically it isn’t as high as it once was.

It’s probably time for locking gas caps again. At $4 my tank will be worth $116 and my wife’s will be $160!

Countdown until our Enlightened Freeper Contingent arrives to tell us how lucky we are to pay $4-$5 a gallon for gas and what a bunch of whiny crybabies we are.

The move to $4 per gallon may well slow demand particularly in the summer driving season. I expect prices somewhat less than $3 by Labor Day.

This is good news. It should go to $10 a gallon so we finally get serious about weaning ourself off this oil-based economy. Besides people need to walk more and riding our bicycles. The “good old days” of cheap gas are over.

We are looking into a bio-diesel and the different options there. I’d say the hubby will have that set up within a few weeks or so. Not sure it will be better, but it should be cheaper.

I remember last year when I decided to go on a trip to
Trinity. They only let you in there two days a year and only a few hours each of those days. So..., I thought it was bad then, when I was paying about $3.09 per gallon on that trip. But, now it seems that this summer is going to be worse. Oh boy! And I was thinking about driving a few thousand miles on a trip this summer....

Amazing consider Gasoline production & imports has increased in the past 2-weeks.
Lucky for all of us that the Hedge Fund investors will be getting rich and will be able to afford to fill up their H2’s.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but the price of a futures contract does not affect the price at the pump. The price at the pump reflects the wholesale price paid by the distributor at auction.

I wonder how it will go before it affects spending in areas that we have greater choice, like travel. Will $4 a gallon cut enough people from Disneyworld that Florida might finally support offshore drilling?
