Let the rage grow. Conservatives and other law bidding folks have been stabbed in the back. I am making my calls over and over to both my slime senators, Richard Burr and Elizabeth Dole. Both claim to be against this but did nothing ....NADA to stop it. No debate, everything in secret. No they can come home and say “we were against this bill”

We aint buying it this time!

Even if the stupid party wins, we lose because this is the GOP party platform

If and when GWB signs this bill bet his approval ratings go lower in the toilet.

“If you can’t see any difference between the Republicans and Democrats, you’re not looking too hard.”

Here’s the difference.

One party said they were on my side. They were lying.
One party said they weren’t on my side. They were telling the truth.

Living in a state where we’re being overrun with illegals, I’m seeing what the future of the US looks like thanks to what this bill will do.

And one of the things that will happen is that there will cease to be any hope of the GOP winning state-level elections.

Either you have a really strong stomach, or you are making buku bucks, to live in Massachusetts!

We're here because hubby got a job here many years ago, and he's the breadwinner. He decided he's had enough of corporate life, and since we don't have to be here for a job, we're moving back to MS, where we're both from. It will be a joy to live in a State where the majority of voters actually share our political ideas.

That is the single most succinct and accurate representation of what is going on here I’ve yet read. Spot-on.

Americans hate liars. And the GOP is overrun with out-and-out liars.

Starting with Geo. W. Bush. He might be “compassionate”, but he is no “conservative.” Fiscally or socially, he isn’t a conservative.

It’s a little early to predict a disaster for 2008. But if there is a disaster, it wont because a candidate is too liberal. It will becasue they ran a bad campaign.

GOP House & Senate members may face some thumping OTOH based on immigration and reckless spending.

Well, what use is compassion when it blinds you to the real dangers of the world? George is a little too Pollyanna for my tastes, even when he’s yammering about terrorism.

This one drives all of the others. Both major parties are in the grip of forces who want the Constitution done away with.

You just stated the truth. It is the betrayal of the elites of both parties that push their desire to do away with the Constitution.

Both parties are in on it. Our Constitution is an obstruction to the cause of socialism.

Not if you get off your tush and support Duncan Hunter.

Here is his platform:

1. No amnesty, deport the illegals, finish my border fence.

2. Victory in Iraq, and against terrorists worldwide

3. Bomb Iran if need be.

4. Protect the unborn

5. Protect the constitution

6. Reform the tax code

7. confront the chicoms.

If you can not see the difference between Sam Alito/John Roberts and Stephen Breyer/Ruth Bader Ginsberg, I do not know what to say. I am a very conservative Southern woman who loves George Bush and fails to see that ANY good has come from letting the immoral, treacherous Democrats take over the House and Senate.

The time to get rid of the RINOs is in the primary - not in the general election. I dislike John McCain intensely and think he has done much more to harm the conservative movement than has Rudy, but I would not hesitate to vote for him were he to be the GOP nominee. Hillary/Obama/Edwards must be prevented from becoming POTUS!

3. Amnesty
6. Big spending

22. The Internet gambling prohibition
23. Expanding the DRMA laws

I also suspect that many of the laws that get passed from here on out will be bipartisan with the credit going to the Democrats and the blame to the Republicans.

So there’s ONE branch of the federal government that isn’t completely corrupt. Big whoop.

1. This idiots incompetence on Iraq (not sending in enough troops in the first place, trying to make it a Democracy.
2. Failure to deal with the MSM(surely there is something we can do about the Lib media dominance). Like maybe we could go to Wall Street fat cats and have them back up another Rupert Murdoch or two or three or four (you know like see to it they have all of the capital it takes to buy up as much of the MSM that they can).
3. Amnesty. this is more like what should do them in if there was any justice. But, by the time their children become citizens grow up and vote our goose is cooked.

“One last time we need the presidency and the senate. Then the purge can begin.”

I’ve lost count of how many times it’s been the last time with today’s version of the GOP. Saying that it’s the last time might make us feel better, like “oh, this is my last cigarette” or “this is the last time I break my diet.” Gyms, and politicians, know very well there are patterns to human behavior. If Hillary wins and is up for re-election in a few more years you know as well as I do THAT will magically become the “one last time.”

The GOP counts on conservatives voting for them, NO MATTER WHAT, to keep the democrats out of office. The fact that they CAN count on people to vote for them, NO MATTER WHAT, means they can really do whatever the hell they want, it doesn’t even matter what. Why not? These dedicated few will vote for them NO MATTER WHAT.

Do you understand? In trying to stop the democrats we’ve become an automatic vote - one which doesn’t even have to be acknowledged or represented. Republican candidates think they can just figure us into their equations without having to appeal to our convictions at all. In a way, we conservatives have become slaves to a party that not only doesn’t represent us, but doesn’t even try to, and in fact takes advantage of us.
