Ever since Ari Fleischer left, this admin has been stone cold tone deaf. I dunno what the hell went on, but wow.

Awful communication, no possible connection to the people that supported him, and the constant ‘reaching out’ to the ravenous democrats that blatantly say they’d rather die by jihad than live under Bush.

And now this.

You are the one who is tone deaf.

Bush is doing exactly what he wants to do and he does not care what you think about it. He knows that the Republican base and the American people hate what he is doing, and that is why he got rid of the Republican congress and is working to push this bill and others through without debate.

His goal all along has been to have so changed made America before he leaves office that it can hardly be said to exist anymore. To make it more like Mexico, where business gets done by the elite without having to worry about pesky things like elections, democracy, representative government, public opinion,etc.

After all that you have seen, how could you possibly still think that Bush just doesn't "get it." He gets it all right. He just has vastly different objectives than you thought that he did.
