Rudy won the debate because of Paul. The audience loved RUDY when he went after Paul. Interpret it anyway you like, that’s the facts of it.
The thousands of people who voted on the debate disagree with Rudy’s antics. Why are you defending Rudy for his lack of substance?
With as little offense as possible to my South Carolinian brethren, a pack of emotionally fired up partisans that had listened to six years of how 'they' were 'coming to get us' is not a group to which I'm going to listen. Especially when the answer was twisted not only by the responding candidate (Giuliani) but by the network who spends 23 hours a day hawking for how absolutely grand Rudy is. Hannity may as well start wearing a bib to catch the slobber every time he mentions St. Rudy.

No the facts are that Rudy was disingenuous and apparently hadn't picked up anything to read in the past 5 years. Else he would have known Rep. Paul was not making an 'absurd' statement but one that was given as a reason by a committee commissioned by the government Rudy wants to run
