..I lived through Carter and Clinton--they are right on the bottom
Throw in James Buchanan while we're in the neighborhood.
And two figures who may not be rated as among the worst, but individuals I have grown to dislike the more I learn about them: Andrew Jackson and Woodrow Wilson...

This series is awesome. I was too young to understand how incompetent Carter really was. I just remember the gas lines as a kid and wondering why we just didn’t go over to Iran and get the hostages from those backward people.
Thank God for Reagan.

Thanks for posting these editorials.
Carter was the worst ever. Just married, I spent 15 months out of work, scraping for small jobs and fighting with the "good folks" at unemployment.
I intensely dislike this man and wish he'd just go away.
Though I do enjoy reading others who think the same way.

If you didn't have to live through the God-awful Carter presidency, read this and learn. He was a a fool on such a monumental scale that he threatened our security, our economy, and with his idiotic "malaise" our society. A true triple threat. We are at war today with the consequences of his idiocy, Al Qaeda and an Islamist Iran.
Clinton was a disgusting thong-snapper and perjurer, but he was a wiley politician who didn't make Carteresque blunders.
