Here’s a Wall Street one that means absolutely nothing:
“...NET NET...”
I think its supposed to mean roughly the same as:
“At the end of the day...”
Here’s a really stupid financial one..
“He/She has more money than God”
I don’t think there is any documentation of God ever having ANY money at all, he doesn’t need it.
So a true, though completely misleading, statement by me would be “Like Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, I have more money than God.”
Gross income is all revenue.
Net income is gross income less expenses.
Net-net is Net income less taxes, or sometimes “net income less everything else.”
Net-net is the true bottom line.
