Here’s a Wall Street one that means absolutely nothing:

“...NET NET...”

I think its supposed to mean roughly the same as:

“At the end of the day...”

Here’s a really stupid financial one..

“He/She has more money than God”

I don’t think there is any documentation of God ever having ANY money at all, he doesn’t need it.

So a true, though completely misleading, statement by me would be “Like Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, I have more money than God.”

Gross income is all revenue.

Net income is gross income less expenses.

Net-net is Net income less taxes, or sometimes “net income less everything else.”

Net-net is the true bottom line.
