As someone who proudly supported Bush I find this whole thing so disappointing.

What part of "The WOT includes serious border security!" don't you get?

SECURE OUR BORDERS!!! ...before something really bad happens.

Give us a chance to fix this problem

Senor Presidente, you've had nearly 7 years.

You failed.

President Bush attacked opponents of an immigration deal Tuesday, suggesting they “don’t want to do what’s right for America.”

That's right. He and the other elites know better than the little people who want the law enforced and the borders secure. Is it too late for impeachment?

Well, this wealth of information on what 20 Million already do while here, why not add another 20 million or so and see what happens.

America is doomed.

What is right for America is up to US Americans not the elite globalist politicians. He should follow our lead and our desires or get out. What happened to his oath of office? Apparently it means nothing to him.

He eerily sounds like Marie Antoinette, let them eat cake....

President Bush attacked opponents of an immigration deal Tuesday, suggesting they “don’t want to do what’s right for America.”
::::
Is this what is right for America, Mr. President??

1. Encouraging the breaking of our immigration laws?
2. Forcing American citizens to pay to support criminal illegals?
3. Tolerating the crime, drugs, gangs, poverty these people have brought into America?
4. Snubbing those LEGAL immigrants that have worked hard to immigrate LAWFULLY, waiting and with hard work?
5. Leaving our borders OPEN to illegal Mexicans and terrorists?
6. DELIBERATELY not stopping the flow of illegals into this country by hamstringing the border patrol ?
7. Flooding our civil resources - education and medical with non-english speaking illegals?
8. Destroying the soverignty and demographics of America?
9. And encouraging MORE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS TO FLOOD IN WHEN YOU DECLARE AMNESTY???

This list goes on, Mr. President. IS THIS WHAT IS GOOD FOR AMERICA, Mr. President ????

“A lot of Americans are skeptical about immigration reform, primarily because they don’t think the government can fix the problems,” Bush said.

The government hasn't in nearly 50 years and 3 previous immigration bills. This current bill not much different that those 3 previous ones. Yet each time the bill came up, The Elected promised that it would fix the problem. It didn't.

To borrow the words of your good ole buddy, Ted Kennedy, on border security and fixing the illegals problem we have had 50 years of "lie after lie after lie after lie."

Bush said. “Or you can show leadership and solve this problem once and for all.”

Yeh, and that solution is just to make everyone in the world an American or regularized. Problem solved. Nation soon to be disolved.

Regularizing twelve to twenty million plus the chain migration of their relatives is not a solution. It is national suicide.

I concur with you 100% and Bush is correct. I DO NOT trust him or politicians to fix any damned thing that is wrong with America. Something wrong? Tax it or grant it amnesty. That is their answers.

Yer right Mr. President, we don't want to do what is right for all of America, we want to do what is right for the USA!

You know the country that elected you President, that USA.

Bush spoke at the nation’s largest training center for law enforcement.

Meanwhile, Ramos and Compean rot in jail. Perfect.

This president is more a facilitator of the North American Union and New World Order than he is the defender of the Constitution of the United States.

I am deeply disappointed and distressed.

Must be talking about the lack of border security, or maybe it’s lack of immigration enforcement in the workplace, or he could be blasting the contractors for not getting the fence built fast enough, or he could be talking about a failure of leadership to get any of the other things done.

I would be careful if I were Bush, as Fred Thompson so admirably noted a few weeks back ... “the Whitehouse fails to grasp, immigration is connected to the Iraq war”. And that connection would be through Bush’s only remaining supporters.

Control the border FIRST! That IS YOUR JOB Mr. President. We’ll deal with the illegals after that.

And regarding Iraq...TAKE THE GLOVES OFF! The ROE are ridiculous!

Cowardice is courage.

Wrong is right.

Those who didn’t support Miers were woman-haters.

Those who oppose Gonzalez are racists.

I am going to puke.
