former Sen. Fred Thompson will indeed throw his hat in the ring for president of the United States."FRED THOMPSON IS RUNNING for the Republican presidential nomination. In a conference call Monday, Thompson addressed a group of more than 100 supporters and fundraisers whom the campaign has dubbed First Day Founders. He told them that he would be setting up an organization that will allow him to begin raising money and recruiting staff.

This could be interesting. I was in favor of Gingrich getting in but, with the recent stuff he’s said about Global Warming and his unnecessarily harsh comments about Rove and the Bush Administration, not so much anymore. Newt’s a brilliant guy but he seriously lacks people and campaigning skills. Anyway, Mitt and Fred in a debate? Cool! Looking forward to it!

Why would Fred announce that he is “in” when he gets 10 times more mileage out of these stupid “we REALLY believe he’s going to announce this time” announcements?

Fred Thompson will be the next President of the United States.
We’ll see if he’s strong enough to beat Hillary’s pact with the devil to become the next president. Here’s hoping so.
To: bmweezer
I’d like nothing more than to see a Thompson/Gingrich ticket.

No way Newt runs.
Gas isn't down in Nevada.
Next world bank disaster in the making - at least this guy does have some experience at Goldman.
More proof San Fran Nan is an idiot.

Pelosi said she hoped Bush would be open to considering a "different way" in the future.
The California Democrat pointed to her delegation's weekend stop in Greenland, "where we saw firsthand evidence that climate change is a reality; there is just no denying it."
"It wasn't caused by the people of Greenland - it was caused by the behavior of the rest of the world," she said.
Yep, Nutcase Nancypants sez so, it's gotta be true. She probably has a few pictures in her cell phone to prove it!

Can you believe I actually heard on the local Iowa radio station that a new poll shows McCain to be ahead in Iowa?
He pulls this bonehead immigration move and his poll numbers go UP? I don't believe it.
