I just moved to a new state — NC — and registered to vote when I got my driver’s license. For the first time, I did NOT register as a republican; rather I am now officially “unaffiliated”. Too many sell-outs, compromises, and outright betrayals for me to support the GOP as a national party any more. I would imagine there are many, many of me out there.
