That's a fairly good report on the current situation. Idaho has some lefties that have moved into the Boise/Nampa area. Most of the rest of the state is solid conservatives. The college towns (Boise, Moscow, Pocatello, Rexburg) have a population of liberal college students. Some are voters, others are present only during the school year.

The first three, yes, but I have my doubts about Rexburg. A "Mormon" university isn't that likely to have many leftist students.
