I think both parties are off the reservation when it comes to the immigration issue. And i agree with you. But I also don’t think a lot of issues that light he fire of the garden variety Freeper just aren’t that important to a majority of the electorate.

As for Duncan, he can’t even get Reagen-like numbers in a GOP primary, let alone a national election. He hasn’t broken from that 2nd tier of candidates, and he won’t.

That’s not to say he isn’t a good guy.

While I am far from pleased with the current frontrunners, I place candidates like Duncan on par with Dennis K and other “no chance in hell” candidates on the Dem side. Makes for good debates, but are not going to garner more than single digit numbers, if that much.
