Gore: I'm not good at modern politics
Nashville Tennessean | June 2, 2007 | Beverly Keel

Posted on 06/02/2007 8:18:42 AM PDT by Zakeet

This story comes from the Gannett's Nashville Tennessean, therefore we cannot post excerpts. However, it does contain some keen observations from the newspaper's former cub reporter. For example:

Algore hasn't ruled out a 2008 run for the White House, but doesn't expect to have a go at it because he "might not possess the skills necessary to be elected president now."

Algore "views the U.S. political system as flawed" because it cheated him out of his presidential victory.

It may be easier for Algore to fix the system from the outside than as leader of the free world.

Algore has "found other ways to make a difference and to serve the public interests "And I'm enjoying them."

You can read Algore's self analysis HERE

Al, you might as well face it. You’re not good at much of anything.

Gore: I’m not good at modern politics

That’s okay Al, you’re still a damn good snake-oil salesman.

**Meteorologist Likens Fear of Global Warming to 'Religious Belief'** (snip: The climate change debate has become corrupted by politics, the media and money,)

Snake Oil Salesmen have been around since the beginning of man dazzling the gullible, it is how they make their living; global warming is no less than today's Snake Oil. Today Algore has taken on the earths climate with the fervor of an Elmer Gantry or Jim Jones gathering in his flocks of politicians, faux scientists and get rich quick hoaxers around the world.

Rather than rid the world of terrorists and other pernicious commodities harmful to the world at large, this smoke screen doesn't cost Gore any money, it makes him money and jobs for thousands who don’t want to find an answer to anything….they would lose their jobs…. politicians jump on the wagon for votes comprised of Special Interest who also make money and illiterate citizens who, in the end, get fleeced.

An Inconvenient Truth is Gore’s story and he’s sticking to it – no matter what the real truth is.

I suffered through his speech to GWU on CSPAN this week. He speaks one word at a time, inserts several large words that add nothing to his meaning, and never gets to the point of anything. He had several thousand liberals sleeping after 15 minutes. It had to be the most painful speech I ever tortured myself with.

I think this man, who use to be one of the most conservative democrats in congress, is just using the liberals to get rich off of. He hawked his useless new book and kept them stirred up on there pet issues (Iraq, Bush is evil, climate change, the world isn't fair, rich are evil etc.)

He is a horrible, highschoolish speaker and I'm so thankful he never made it to the CINC level

I heard an account of Gore's breakdown after the 2000 election on Dennis Miller's radio show, the politico doing the analysis said Gore couldn't stand (mentally) to lose in the primary to Hillary.

GOD I'd like to see Gore completely melt down. Straight jacket, babbling, drooling... the whole nine yards!

I thought the only two things you don’t have to be good at, to still enjoy, are golf and sex.

Algore "views the U.S. political system as flawed" because it cheated him out of his presidential victory.

Pesky electoral college!

Well, I'd say that despite his cronies attempt to defraud the American people and steal the election, things were, in the end working properly.

It was the candidate, Gore, who was broken and defective.

What a complete and total scumbag.
