Pretty amazing. There was a clip of an elephant protecting its baby from some lions and it was brutal. When the elephant was finished, the only thing left of a couple of the lions was blood and hide smashed into the dirt.
Discovery Channel had a program on about a month ago called Planet Earth with footage of a pride of lions taking down a full grown bull elephant.
It appears the lions were really hungry. The video looked like mice swarming a cat.
The elephant, of course, was by himself. A battle between a pride of lions and a herd of elephants would end with the surviving kitties scattering in all directions.
