We local folk are enraged. They better catch this guy and sentance him to the max. The Kansas Court's aversion to the death penalty is going to be an item of outrage.

As my wife (a woman who has shopped in this exact area for thrity years) says, they will trot out a bunch of mean stuff his momma did to him and he will be out of jail in 60 months and kill again...that's the way that Kansas has fallen.
