He is a liar or his doctors are incompetent. I think he is a liar. When I tested positive for TB the first question I asked my doctor am I a danger to my family and individuals I work with. He explained that since I did not culture out positive I was not and that as a precaution (prophylaxis) I would be put on antibiotics for a year.

That's pretty damning if it's true. I had active TB myself and from the time the doctors told me until I left the hospital, NO ONE was in my presence unmasked. On the few occasions I was out of isolation, I was masked. As a matter of fact, that's how I knew they were letting me go home. The doctor came in my room with no mask.

While we all get aggravated about a single case of TB that has subsequently proved to not currently be contagious we have missed the fact that 50% of the TB cases in this country are attributable to immigrants.

Thats right, the illegals pouring over the border are bring all kinds of infectious diseases with them, including TB which is currenly on the rise in the US.
