Paris banged up ... again (Prisoner Riot Feared over Hilton Special Treatment)
The Sun ^ | 6-9-07 | EMILY SMITH

PETRIFIED PARIS HILTON mouthed “I love you” to her parents last night — before being carted off to face a hostile reception in prison.....[snip]

[snip]Prisoner number 9818783 was put back in her special cell — isolated from other inmates — amid fears the angry lags could RIOT over her special treatment.

Wardens even ordered a lockdown as prisoners — who think Paris pretended to be sick to con doctors — threatened a revolt.

An insider at the prison in Lynwood, California, said: “The women inside the jail are seething. They say if you’re a rich white girl you get special treatment.

“They are furious that while Paris had her own special cell with a panic button, was given better food and was kept away from the general population, she was still released early.

“There are girls in here with cancer, TB, and with MRSA. They aren’t allowed to go home and are treated by prison medical staff.

“The prisoners think if you’re rich and pretend you’re sick you can get away with murder.

“Many of the girls have been locked down in their cells all day because they are so furious. The jail is full of screams about Paris.

“Prison bosses fear this could simmer over into violence.”

Ex-inmate Lisa Caprie said she suffered a nervous breakdown inside but was kept there.

She said: “We heard Paris was treated like the Queen of England. It’s not fair. My husband fought to get me out when I had a breakdown but they didn’t listen.”

And Elana Lamb, set free with an ankle tag, said Paris made a nuisance of herself by repeatedly pressing a medical alert button.

Lamb, 38, said: “She was just whining, complaining she was cold and hungry.”............."

They were saying on tv that she should use the time to read and write. Magazines are propbably her speed but it would help pass the time.

If some of the folks I’ve met throughout life are any indication, they’d be more inclined to just shake their heads. Don’t confuse county vs state pen. In county, most have a chance to earn time off for good behavior. Paris isn’t worth blowing a chance to get out of there and eat better boxed mac and cheese.

Of course I could be wrong, but picking on someone who weighs 90 lbs soaking wet, trembling like her chihuahua, isn’t exactly a challenge.

I’ve lived in pretty bad neighborhoods, LOL :)

She inherited $80 million when she turned 18. I'm sure the fine will "cost" her.

It will be a net gain for taxpayers instead of the net loss they are getting stuck with now to keep her in jail. And if she breaks home detention again, she gets another fine and a longer home detention sentence.

You're missing her disregard for the law.

No, I haven't.

Instead of driving, why didn't she get a driver? Because the law doesn't apply to her.

Sure it does. We're simply debating the punishment.

She did not comply with any of her probation. She disregarded all the rules. That is serious. Nothing they did deterred her which is the point.

No, the point is that I don't want taxpayers wasting money when they could be making money. And I don't want nonviolent offenders clogging up the jails. It's a waste of jail space.

The law is a deterrent to antisocial/dangerous behaviour. Instead of realizing the seriousness of her behaviour, she plays poor picked on waif. She broke laws and believes she should have no consequences. The law says otherwise.

As do I. Put her on home detention and fine her. If she tries to break home detention, fine her again and double the sentence.

The media created her, and we have nobody to blame but ourselves.

Wrong. Her mother created her, she wanted a celebrity lifestyle for her daughter and they have used the media to get it. They can blame themselves.

I recently read an interview that Lohan’s mother gave. It was easy to see why her daughter is on the rails headed toward a trainwreck. I imagine Hilton’s mother is the same. These young women desperately need guidance from mothers and instead they have mothers posing as “friends” trying to live vicariously through them. Very sad.

Martha is definitely NOT Paris.
Martha MADE herself and her huge business.
Paris gets paid for being a train wreck—and most of us do turn to look when we see a train wreck.

That's not a deterrent. And she IS a danger: reckless driving with DUI, speeding/no headlights on DOSL.....she's lucky that she didn't cream someone. NEXT time she might. And THAT is why laws are strict. To prevent a next time tragedy. Drivers like her need to learn the first time.

Who knows, being locked away from all her enablers might be the best thing that's ever happened to her.

If my suspicions about her are correct, then she needs a structured environment. In fact, someone living with her, making sure she takes her meds, follows up on Dr. appointments, and eliminating temptation.

You do realize that her parents are powerless to curb her. Once you turn 18, no one can force you to take your meds, etc. Frankly, and this is sad, I think the family would rather see people label her as a skank, whore, slut, than admit that Paris has mental problems.

I think we should say a prayer for her. God sees her no different from you or me.

Here’s what I don’t understand..Her atty and shrink are pretty smart, they obviously gamed the system, and the sheriff. Why didn’t they take her from the jail, with the ankle bracelet, to a posh psychiatric hospital..that would have made her bullet proof.no way the judege hauls her out of a mental factility..albeit a very nice one..to put her back in jail...I suspect they wanted to do that, that Paris refused to go, and her parents couldn’t make her. She was planning a big party for the weekend..BIG OOPsie!

Forget powerless to curb. From what I've seen they enable, aid and abet. With family like that, who needs enemies.

I thought one had to actually commit a crime before being punished for it. If she had hurt someone, we would not be having this argument.

Home detention for those who drive on a suspended license is a more appropriate punishment. Jail seems appropriate for someone who hurts another with a car. See the difference?

The hype and hysteria and the hoopla and the paparazzi are enabled because of people just like you. Poor Paris...she’s hot.

In the only episode on Simple Life I watched, the host family sent Paris and Richie to the feed store for supplies and gave them a charge card. They bought the items that were needed, but Richie started egging on Paris to buy other stuff. They bought a fancy bird feeder that cost over $120 and then "gave" it to the woman because it was her birthday. The next day, the family discovered the extra charges and were very hurt by the prank.

Richie just laughed it off, but Paris kept apologizing. She even violated the rules and tried to get some of her own money brought in to pay for the charges. There was a bit of real remorse in her face, and she only knew to break rules and throw money at the situation. Still, there was a moment of human emotion.

The traditional way to curb heirs and heiresses is conditions on their potential inheritance. You could have a rule like “every time you show your p****y in public” you lose $10,000,00.

Paris is hardly a train wreck.Besides the DUI what else is she at fault for? People were willing to pay for her name and she took the money. That's America.

Minus the salacious BJ video, would the hype, hysteria, and hoopla be nearly as hysterical, frenzied, and...um...overblown?

I’m not a fan of Paris Hilton, but Ann Coulter made a good point yesterday on Fox. This is a case of unequal justice against someone who is rich and famous. An ordinary person wouldn’t get this kind of sentence. Class warfare, or as Rush calls it, Get-Evenism.

She has passed “wild” and landed in disgusting. That doc that I posted originally came from a website called “Paris Exposed”. She had a storage unit and didn’t pay for it. Someone bought the contents and man! there is some garbage on that site. This woman needs some serious help. Some guy named Brian Quintana has a restraining order against her too. What a messed up woman!

Totally correct. They also had the paperwork from (at least one of) her abortion(s). I've seen the videos of her yelling out racist slurs and then laughing about it. She IS disgusting.
