Paris banged up ... again (Prisoner Riot Feared over Hilton Special Treatment)
The Sun ^ | 6-9-07 | EMILY SMITH

PETRIFIED PARIS HILTON mouthed “I love you” to her parents last night — before being carted off to face a hostile reception in prison.....[snip]

[snip]Prisoner number 9818783 was put back in her special cell — isolated from other inmates — amid fears the angry lags could RIOT over her special treatment.

Wardens even ordered a lockdown as prisoners — who think Paris pretended to be sick to con doctors — threatened a revolt.

An insider at the prison in Lynwood, California, said: “The women inside the jail are seething. They say if you’re a rich white girl you get special treatment.

“They are furious that while Paris had her own special cell with a panic button, was given better food and was kept away from the general population, she was still released early.

“There are girls in here with cancer, TB, and with MRSA. They aren’t allowed to go home and are treated by prison medical staff.

“The prisoners think if you’re rich and pretend you’re sick you can get away with murder.

“Many of the girls have been locked down in their cells all day because they are so furious. The jail is full of screams about Paris.

“Prison bosses fear this could simmer over into violence.”

Ex-inmate Lisa Caprie said she suffered a nervous breakdown inside but was kept there.

She said: “We heard Paris was treated like the Queen of England. It’s not fair. My husband fought to get me out when I had a breakdown but they didn’t listen.”

And Elana Lamb, set free with an ankle tag, said Paris made a nuisance of herself by repeatedly pressing a medical alert button.

Lamb, 38, said: “She was just whining, complaining she was cold and hungry.”............."

I sincerely hope she can and will change, but it will take God to do it. He’s not limited by her position.

TV Guide is echoing how Paris will be richer from this as the “it girl”.....therein is the real problem

Oh that's niiiice. Not. These vultures will suck her dry, just like they have done countless times to other troubled celebrities. Do any of them feel remorse when something bad happens?

Paris doesn't need any more money. She needs a new attitude, and hope and pray that she will accept this.

She was on her way to that path, what with the sweatshirt with Faith written on it and carrying the Bible and a couple of other inspirational books around for that day’s photo op. Self analysis is another path to awareness and enlivening the spirit but will her prison diary be the key? I am just so skeptical.

Thanks for posting that. I’d forgotten all about it. The article states that Brandy was not charged, nor was alcohol or drugs involved. Was that the end of it?

I do know that authorities are cracking down on cell phone usage, while driving. Maybe she was on the phone and became distracted??

I'm skeptical too. The sweatshirt with Faith written on it and carrying her bible then at night running around in short dresses with no underpants. yeah, I'm skeptical, all right!

Exactly who is Zeta Graff? The story says she is an actress. There is also a line in the story that in addition to Paris being with Graff’s ex lover, Paris was also wearing her family jewels? I don’t think they meant *those* family jewels. Are Paris and Zeta related somehow?

It wouldn’t shock me if Paris had fed the story to the Post, and then committed perjury.

Isn’t there also some kind of suit involving jewelry?

The new perjury accusations stem from Hilton’s denial that she planted false stories about Graff in the press, which is the basis for Graff’s multimillion dollar suit.

Hilton blames her former publicist, Rob Shuter, for placing the story, according to court documents.

But Shuter recently confirmed Graff’s accusations, based on excerpts from his deposition in which he describes how Hilton phoned him after the two women had a run-in at London nightclub Kabaret, and then gave him specific instructions about what she wanted him to feed to the gossip pages of the New York Post.

“I listened carefully. I took notes. And then, I made a call. Then, I called the Post,” Shuter said in his Dec. 16 videotaped deposition.

The story that appeared in the Post’s Page Six column July 2 portrayed Graff as a “jealous ex-girlfriend” who went “berserk” when she saw Hilton dancing with Paris Latsis, Graff’s former lover.

The Post quoted an anonymous eyewitness who claimed Graff tried to strangle the heiress and grab the jewels off her neck before security restrained her and escorted her from the club.

Shuter said in his deposition that Hilton was the anonymous source and that she referred to herself in the third person as she fed him the following quote: “’It’s one thing to lose your boyfriend to Paris Hilton — it’s another to find her wearing your family jewels,’ mused one observer.”

Hilton has admitted, in court documents, that the story was false and even concedes that she tried to have Graff removed from the club. However, her attorneys say she denies causing the article to be published.

“Hilton believes that certain statements contained in the article were communicated to the New York Post by Robert Shuter of Dan Klores Communications, without Hilton’s prior consent, knowledge, participation or authorization,” say documents filed in September by Hilton’s attorneys, who could not be reached for comment.

But Shuter said that the “media savvy” socialite “painted a very dramatic and pretty ugly scene” during their four-minute conversation.

“She dictated and I wrote,” Shuter said, adding later, “My recollection is that she wanted to say something much more mean than this. Much more tough. I can’t remember, but I definitely had to tone her back.”

Graff’s attorneys want to question Latsis next.

“We look forward to all of the facts coming out. And in that regard, we will be taking Paris Latsis’ deposition later this month,” Paul Berra of Lavely & Singer told Courttv.com.

Two European tabloids that ran the Post piece have since apologized and retracted the article. The Post has not retracted the article, but on Tuesday Page Six quoted another anonymous source as saying Hilton admitted during her own deposition that she lied when she planted a story in the press about Graff.

“Hilton will learn a valuable lesson about what happens when you try to ruin another person’s reputation,” Graff says in a statement published by the Post, which Berra confirmed to be Graff’s words. “She made a number of false statements about me, and she repeatedly lied under oath during her recent deposition. I look forward to her explaining all of this to a jury.”

It’s a thankless job, but someone’s got to do it. All you can do is pray for his continuing safety. Be proud of him for doing a dirty, dangerous job :)

I read the main article, but didn’t read the coresponding links on the side. My computer is crap, and loading up docs is getting completely frustrating. Took almost 5 minutes just to get the main page, and I don’t have dial up :(

Does Zeta Graff have some other connection with the Hiltons? Imo, guys aren’t worth fighting over. Jewelry is a different matter ;) Maybe I’ll go through the frustration of googling up Ms. Graff. I’m so nosey...

LOL! I'll bet that's what his folks are saying. Can you imagine? "Paris, meet Paris. Paris, Paris." I have to say, he looks only slightly less vacant than the female Paris. God, what a hoot!

Interesting comment from news.com.au:

The contribution from William Barron Hilton, 78, co-chairman of the Hilton Hotel chain, to Sheriff Lee Baca's re-election campaign is revealed in financial records and a friend of the Hilton family said the temporary release of the heiress last week may have been a "quid pro quo".

Wow. All legitimate info on Zeta Graff apparently pulled. I did see a blurb about the 4 million dollar necklace Paris was wearing that night. It belonged to Zeta’s former father in law.

Zeta split from her husband Peter Graff in 2001. They reached a settlement where she received 17 million. At the time, her age was listed as 33, which would make her around 37-38 yrs old now. In an article that dealt with the lawsuit, her age was given as 34???

LOL, try and find pics of this woman, nevermind her real age. I saw a passible one of her and Paris Latkis, and another one at a Fendi function. In that one, she looked like Donatella Versace. There was an “official website” for Zeta, but the photos were dated, and the info links dealt with the upcoming lawsuit.

I can’t believe I just wasted all that time :/

How sad for you, all of you.

It was sad, and is sad for anyone who loses loved ones because of drunk driving. That's why drunk driving is no longer as acceptable.

No, it isn’t and it bugs the crap outta me when drunk drivers get their licenses back time after time. Judges are the ones who need to get tougher but they seem to be afraid to.

I am proud of him. He’s a really good kid (well, he IS 46) and takes good care of his family responsibilities. He became a corrections officer for the benefits for his family. He can do almost anything but this was a steady job that pays well and the medical benefits are really good.
