Kuwait City: Iran warned on Sunday that it would strike US military bases in neighbouring Gulf states if they were used as staging posts to attack the Islamic republic over its nuclear programme. "We rule out the possibility that our neighbours... will allow the United States to use their territory in attacking Iran," Iranian parliament speaker Gholam Ali Hadad Adel told reporters during an official visit to Kuwait.
"But if this actually happens, we will be forced to defend ourselves... We will target those bases or points" used to attack Iran, he said.

Hmmm...Ahmadinejad must be feeling bad, scared, paranoid...sweating.
Why?
Could it be the American hostages he is holding under false arrest charges?
Could it be the Iranian operatives operating in Iraq?
Could it be the Iranian “peaceful” nuclear program?
Could it be Ahmadinejad’s constant anti-Israel, anti-American propaganda?
I don’t know.
Time will tell.

It reminds me of those old Robert Conrad commercials that he did for some battery company or another back in the mid-1970’s:

Much as I admired Robert Conrad (big-time Baa Baa Black Sheep fan), as a 13yo kid I always felt the overpowering urge to take him up on his offer, and always felt cheated that I couldn’t because he was in TV-land, safely out of Harm’s Way now that I had learned how to fight bullies...
The key difference with Robert Conrad and Iran, of course, is that Iran isn’t quite out of Harm’s Way in TV-land — but they must be laboring under that delusion nonetheless.

Sounds fair to me. It's a step up from "we'll shoot innocent children in the Congo if you attack us".
If we attack Iran I would suspect our bases might be a tad prepared for a fight in return!

If the “Democrats” again seize control of both the Legislative and Executive branches — we can all bend over and kiss our asses goodbye...
