He said that he is resigning as the DA of Durham and just now said, on the stand, that he is “out of a job”.

I saw Seligman on the stand today. He was great. If Nifong didn’t see single-handedly what his personal prosecution caused then he’s blind.
But let me ask you something...if Seligman was your boy, wouldn’t you advise him that it was a bit on the dumb side to have ordered strippers in the first place?
This is the part I’d like to see out of those boys...some remorse over this stupid act. Yeah, I know it happens all over but young men need to be told, by their parents I’m thinking here, that taking off one’s clothes in front of strange men, all accompanied by lewd hoots and hollars, is not something women are especially proud of. Very few young girls express a desire to grow up and be strippers is what I’m saying here.
And yay, unfortunately, such as ordering personal strippers tends to attract that sad underbelly class of female such as Crystal Magnum. It’s the law of unintended consequences.
I’d just like to see one of those boys who got mixed up in that thing, or their fathers, make the statement that hiring strippers in the first place was dumb. I’d think the world of them if they did.
How would they have liked it if their sister or mother showed up to put on the show? If those boys would take this extra step I’d be happy.
Yes I know the anti-women’s libbers on FR will yell at me but I really think it’s on us to teach our sons not to objectify women. So far as I can see, Seligman’s, Finnerty’s , et al’s parents failed to do this.

They have said that, months ago. They also said that the act of hiring a stripper, while stupid, did not indicate that they raped anyone.
However, that is not at all what this case is about and should hardly be held over the Duke players heads anymore. In fact, they have paid more for that stupid act that anyone I can think of and much more then is warranted for their actions.
Sorry, but they’ve been through enough without me making some sort of moral opinion of their actions considering the hell Nifong, the Black Panthers, people in Durham and the police have put them through.
Yep. When your "endeavors" are supported wholeheartedly by a large group of people, I suppose that could make you feel like you can't lose, no matter what.
I wonder if some of them actually could be held partially responsible for Nifong's zealousness in trying so desperately to convict these guys.
