Well, let me disabuse you of any misconceptions you may have. That has been done in private and will continue to be done in private for the rest of his life and at the moment he kisses his mother and father good-bye at the end of their lives. Is THAT enough? Let me know, because I learn from each response.
One more thing and then I am totally finished with saying the same thing over and over.
In another post on this thread I made a big damn deal about how I hated to have LAWS passed to handle the matter. So why on earth are you suggesting that I should spearhead some sort of thing to outlaw stripping? I'd no more get involved in such a thing as I would being a stripper myself.
Sometimes it's only our disapproval that tends to stem such practices that really aren't for the betterment of society. I'll never give up this disapproval.
And as for "being a man" by watching strippers...heh. This is the old right-wing "the feminazis are taking away our manhood" argument. Sure a male likes to watch a naked female and NO I don't ever want to see that stop. But how about he watches his lady love strip or gazes longingly at her nude body? Does it have to be this sleazy thing with a complete stranger and a room full of hooting males? Your argument that going to strip shows somehow makes a young male a "man" is a really tiny argument.
I'm really done talking about this now. I will not respond to any further posts as I think I've done said everything. I accept readily that you disagree with me, that you think I'm an idiot, that you threw in a really small jab at my Blog for no discernible reason and that you would never enjoy being in my company.

To me, a guy who goes to strip clubs is just plain sleazy and I lose respect for him. It certainly does not make him more of a man.

I simply do NOT understand a word of your post.
Those two young men who left because of alleged “disinterest” WENT to the party knowing there was going to be a stripper. AND....did you read anything about this case? He STAYED for the performance. They don’t get a pass from me.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again.....when one or all of those boys write the book I bet they mention what a dumb thing that whole thing was. They might really mean it.
One thing I did hear Mr. Seligman say during his testimony the other day was that his girlfriend was so mad at him for going to a party with strippers that she broke up with him.
Now I don’t know if they stayed broke up but hey, young woman really don’t want their boyfriends going to parties with strippers...no they don’t and if they ever tell the truth young girls will readily admit this.
It’s what makes the males in our society behave. Males are naturally aggressive in terms of protection and sexuality. It’s the female soft hand that tames this in the male. When women walk away from what really should be a natural instinct the society will go to hell.
I’ll never stop being disdainful of both strippers and the males that participate in this tasteless activity.

Maybe the NYTimes will hire him. Their pictures of Nifong and Seligman were so prejudicial. Handsome Nifong and twisted-up mouth Seligman. They had to search the tapes for a long time to find two shots where a very plain middle-aged man looked so much better than a very handsome young man. They had unlimited types of pictures from which to choose. Both men teared up on TV.
There’s been one on just about every LAX thread. The good thing is they always say they’re going to “stop” “quit wasting their breath” or “move on”. The bad thing is they say it 217 times before they actually do it.

I’d break up with a guy who goes to strip clubs in a NY minute and have done so in the past. My husband tells me he went to a strip club once or twice but it was before I knew him. But what a creepy guy this would be.

When I was a young woman I was beautiful. Yes I was. Well hey, I think I’m okay looking now, for a middle-aged broad. Now I know this takes away the “ugly” argument boorish males like to use. Besides being beautiful, I was very intelligent. AND I was very picky about the men I dated and loved.
AND there was never a dearth of men in my life....they were (and still are) like a bus. You miss one, another one comes right along. I’d never date a man more than once that regularly went to strip clubs or attended parties with strippers as entertainment.
Please don’t tell me I don’t have that right.
The men.....I love men. I love men more than any female on this planet. At times I have even performed a strip show of my own, in the privacy of my own quarters. I love a man to gaze longingly at my naked body. This is an instinct in a normal female, I’d argue. The men, they’ve always been around. I’ve suffered no shortage of them.
What else can I say? Decent women with something to offer don’t like a man who sits with a bunch of other men hooting and hollering for some strange pathetic and possibly drug-addled woman to take it off.
I understand that a man with out-of-control gonads does not like this little factoid.
Perhaps someday some fellow will read this and thank me for the enlightenment. Perhaps those of us with sons would do them better to tell them this as well.
No, I didn’t see Dave (can’t view or listen from the computer station I’m on this morning). I did see Greta’s show last night and when they flashed the picture of Collin smiling, I couldn’t help but think what nice straight teeth and what a shame we haven’t seen more of that smile. (Of course memories of the braces we managed to pay for with my son came back at the same time ;-)).

His tears mean that he will not be brought to justice. Bleeding heart liberals everywhere will give him sympathy. He will not be prosecuted for his crime. He will not go to jail.
Why he needs to go to jail:
He used the full force of the police against innocent people, knowing full well that they were innocent. He brought the full armed force of the police into play. The police have clubs, mace, handcuffs and guns and will beat, mace or shoot anyone who resists arrest even if the arrest is false.
His accomplice in this crime will go back to stripping and “pole dancing”.
Full time law school is 3 years. If you pass the bar, you are ready to practice. There are no required internships as for doctors.

No one is suggesting any of their names for the “Medal of Honor.” I am simply saying I did hear regret and I did hear disinterest and I did hear Dave’s girlfriend was upset and I have followed this case more closely than you ever have.
What a jerk. Makes me wonder if he is one of the guys whose DNA was found on Crystal Magnum. The woman cries rape, yet no follow up ever on the DNA? Somebody is being protected.
The lacrosse players were lucky they had wealthy parents. Otherwise they would be in jail.
Nifong needs to be sentenced to prison. I hope somebody will also go after Johnny Sutton.
People really should acquaint themselves with the case narrative before further discrediting themselves by making demonstrably false and potentially actionable statements.
You said a team apology “did not happen.” I’ve produced a press release proving otherwise. Fact of the matter is that the players have repeatedly apologized and anyone giving due diligence to the facts of the case as I have (Durham native) knows this to be true.
Further, while not very bright, hiring a stripper is legal in North Carolina - so the team apologies you pretend do not exist could not give ammunition even to a tore down scoundrel like Nifong.
Consult the case narrative - continued denial of proven facts does not become you.
