He is no role model. He is/was arrogant. Why do they continue to celebrate fools. So what you can beat another person bloody....it’s no sport.

I feel you redefine what sport is. Sport since ancient time was about blood and sweat. Any other aspect was called “chess.”

You obviously have something against “the sweet science” and “the manly art of self-defense.”

America has a lot of heroes who were exceptionally good at terminating others with extreme prejudice. General George Patton’s name comes to mind.

I've had the chance to meet him once. He seemed like a really nice guy.

I was on a business trip for work two years ago. On a plane from Washington, D.C. to Chicago, I gut bumped up to first class. Just as we were about to board, who should come on and take the seat right across from me, but Cassius Clay himself!

He seemed pretty nice. We were delayed taking off, so the flight attendants allowed Clay to walk back towards the coach section, where he performed a few small magic tricks for the passengers before it was time to take his seat again and we took off. He never really talked much during the flight though.

Look at professional sports today & all you see are echos of this trash-talking boxer. Tremendous talent, innately intelligent, but uneducated. Certainly he was/is no role model.
