It came to my mind, too, when I was watching them throw rocks at our border patrol officers last night on TV. A week’s worth of shooting on site might calm the border down significantly. And I’m thinking maybe some land mines. Arsonists are asking for it.

“Shoot to kill” comes to mind here. And this is another reason why the fence - double with a no man's land, possibly mined, the entire length of the border - would come in handy.
