Just heard on Fox News Radio that Bush “admin.” has confirmed that they are actively considering shutting down Gitmo.
What a tragedy! The most luxurious vacation spot for muslims in the Americas is close to being shut down.
Administration denial, especially on this one, doesn’t convince me. It’s possible our govt is expecting trouble in Cuba and doesn’t want to have to deal with that trouble with the additional complication of Gitmo prisoners. Also, a little shakeup and reassortment is good cover for...the kind of retooling you do when trouble is coming over the hill.
