I’m curious as to why you think VP Cheney is a “National disgrace”. I’m not arguing about it, just curious to learn if you see something I don’t see.

Cheney is a national disgrace. Respect for the law? Follow the exec. order of the pres.? Only if convenient. Huh? Cheney is right! His office is not an "entity within the executive branch"; it's one of the fundamental offices of the executive branch. The order was intended to control the various agencies within the executive, not the main officers of the executive.

Cheney claims they’re within the law so let the courts decide. It will only take 2 years to get to the USSC. Waxman is just using this non-issue as a political football just like they did with the AG’s office.
