Just pulled it out of nowhere. If he we had 423 Pauls, we can leave 11 seats for whiney, Socialist, progressive, special interest agenda hacks...just for entertainment value.

That was just a strange fantasy reply. That didn’t make a lot of sense. I hope you return to reality before your hurt yourself. Take care.

Well actually politics has always involved groups of people. Winning national elections does require large numbers of votes! Your little Ron Paul club is a team, but sadly too little to make a difference in a national election.

“Very little thought about which candidate has the right ideas, just root for your team.” I didn’t say that. The little voices in your head did.

I said I was supporting the strong candidate with whom I agreed with the most.

Can anyone on this forum remember when the last time the Go’v’t reduced its power or intervention?

Well, there's the mohair pricing agreement and the Federal Tea-Tasting Board.
On second thought, scratch the mohair subsidy. It's back in the budget ...

LOL!The problem is Americans can’t think for themselves. They don’t even know if we are a Republic or a democracy. They have no idea that their rights don’t come from government. The average American is CLUELESS.

Well, Duncan Hunter probably has the chance of an icicle in Hades. Or at least the chance of an ice cube in the Kool Aid in Hades.

Yeah, that’s my Utopia. A legislature full of Constitutionalists and limited government libertarians. With only a few whining liberals mixed in for comic relief.

It's a shame we don't have more FReepers who feel that way. This forum has become infested with big government socialists who don't give a damn about the U.S. Constitution.

I’m sure that the right wing religious fundamentalists had very good intentions...preventing the moral decay of society and preventing America from following in the footsteps of ancient Rome and sinking into an abyss of decadence and immorality.

The left wing Socialists have good intentions too...feed the poor and hungry (although not fast food, obesity epidemic among the poor in America, you know), prevent disease by encouraging healthy behavior and preventative medicine, help the disadvantaged, provide social justice for minorities even if they didn’t ask for it, save the planet, the polar bears etc, etc...

All good stuff. It’s been tried before. A couple of chaps named Marx and Engels had some brilliant ideas and wrote about it. How did it work out?

Some other guy named Torqemeda tried the religious fundamentalist stuff too. How did that work out?

Yet retard Socialists want to try it again and hope that maybe this time it will work out differently.

What kind of stupid jackass would want to take the greatest country in the history of Planet Earth and turn it into the USSR, Nazi Germany or the Spanish Inquisition?

Democrats, of course. But look out for some Republicans who are going in the same direction, only a bit slower. We are supposed to vote for them because they are “Republican” or “they can beat Hillary”.
I’ll take Ron Paul. He may be the only small government, pro freedom candidate in the race. And he can beat Hillary.

If one surfaces before I die, I'll do the same.

Are you another Hillary supporter?

Actually I think you are supporting Hillary by putting all your time and energy into the hopeless RP campaign. I am trying to do all I can to make sure that Hillary is NOT elected in 2008.
