I serve with many black men. I have gone to sea with many black men. I have counted on and depended on these sailors. They haven't let me down. These guys are closer to me than the folks I grew up with. It didn’t take long for me (a white man) to look past color. We aren’t black, white, rich, poor, etc. We are Aviation Ordnacemen and at the end of the day we all wear red shirts. That’s all that matters.

We need to focus on common values first and our heritage much later...one of those values is allegiance to the USA. The left wants us to focus on our ethnicity first which succeeds in dividing us.
