Regarding both Iraq and Immigration, President Bush often prefaces his public statements by saying his policies are the “moral” positions. This is his pc way of saying that God told him what to do and that he cares about neither public opinion nor concrete results.
How does one dissuade from such a rationale? We have a real problem.
