Neandertals (often spelled "Neanderthals") Shouldn’t that be included the first time NG misspells simplifies the spelling for who knows who? What’s wrong with maintaining the provenance of a foreign word? Where are the grammar police when they’re needed?
Next thing you know, someone will want to change the spelling of encyclopaedia.
