I was flamed for that as well. It seems the affirmative action wing of the GOP didn't care what Condi's actual positions were (pro-abortion, pro-affirmative action, pro-palestian, mexico is our best friend, etc.) they just thought it would be really kewl to have a BLACK FEMALE as the nominee and show the Dems we have women and minorities aboard.

Of course I was also flamed by the "George Allen will be the next POTUS" crowd for pointing out George was going to have a tough time winning nationally when he was struggling to win his OWN (mostly Republican) state.

I don't go for the flavor of the week here on FR. I'm currently getting bashed by the FredHeads for not jumping aboard the latest "winning" candidate craze here.
