It helps the professional fund raisers and campaign strategy people stay employed. And we the people allow this to continue, just like we let the illegal alien problem go until we are knee deep in illegals.

Apperently since either the Democrats or the Republicans fillbuster every attept to fix the problem In all the back slapping, people seem to have missed last week was a negative victory. It did not gain the Right anything, it merely prevented the other side from winning anything All last week did was maintain the status quo, which supposedly is the whole problem with the border.

What's even funnier to me, since this was posted on the Huffington Post, is the replies from the moonbats, who truly believe the cars were no danger, that Bush is by far the bigger danger (than terrorists), that the evil NSA is spying on us, and how every act of foiled terrorism shows that either the terrorists are really no threat, or that our government (led by the EVIL BUSH) just made it all up, so they could spy on all of us and further erode our civil rights (of minorites and women, of course).

This sunday's Media Nuggets

###### Associated Press & Reuters -> DeCapiGate. The Associated Press, Reuters, and Voices of Iraq should immediately apologize for publishing this completely false story, and push for immediate retractions. The Associated Press should admit full responsibility for not following good journalistic practices of verifying a story though legitimate responsible sources, as they were in a headlong, reckless rush to publish.

###### Associated Press' Journalist has a rather colorful past as left-wing activist & "radical".

###### Cause & Effect - CBS Sued -> by Gay Producer .

###### NBC's Brian Williams losing viewers faster than Katie Couric? -> Now we know why.

###### Repeat this, MSM! -> We 're a Generous Country. Donating money to dems ok, but wearing Flag-pin is not?

###### SF Chronicle Blog Mourns Staffers -> Who Lost Jobs. As Hearst's San Francisco Chronicle lays off some 100 staffers, the newspaper's Web site is updating a blog, called Colleagues Remembered, that posts obit-like items about the departing employees.

###### First Daughter Jenna Bush through CNN(!) Reporter's Prism.

###### Hamas scores publicity coup in U.S. Media.

###### Casualty of LATimes newsroom-downsizing: LA Times Managing Editor.

###### AP Story 'Perpetuates Subtle Myth' -> Senior Pentagon official says.

B u z z ........

*** KTNV anchor Christina Brown (served in US Air Force) is joining MSNBC as a news anchor.

*** "Maxim" Owner -> Hillary Clinton 's Treasury Secretary?.

*** National Public Radio = “National Palestinian Radio.” :-).

*** Matt Lauer was in London for Sunday's Diana concert when Piccadilly bomb scare news broke but didn't think that was important enough story for him to cover.

*** MSNBC dropped its Sunday 12-4 newscast due to dismal ratings last December. Now, it 's dropping Saturday afternoon newscasts as well.

*** NBC hired Mike Levine (who was just fired from Fox) as producer of "The Chris Matthews Show".

*** NARAL launched an attack on CNN's Nancy Grace for her on-air announcement of her pregancy with twins & the subsequent congratulatory wishes she received from multiple guests & callers (accusing her of promoting pregnancy). She is #2 on ratings next only to Larry King.

*** Al Gore's youngest daughter, Sarahis getting married next month with Chinese-American businessman Bill Lee. (Foot-note: NYTimes covered Rupert Murdock's Chinese-American wife like a scandal.)

*** ABC WH Correspondent Martha Raddatz, anti-war book & hollywood -> the connection.

*** The week that was.

Hopefully the fairness doctrine will go nowhere.(unless its passed at 3:00 am in the tightest of secrecy by a bare majority)
Hair Amerika did a lot more than go bankrupt. When they folded, the proved that U.S. citizens don’t want to hear that feel good lib/rat talk and even more important that sponsors will “not” pay to keep them on the air either.
Both key things in their demise.
Their failure in a free market should kill the fairness act forever, since anyone who doesn’t want to hear conservative talk radio can always turn the dial to anyone of the many lib tv stations or picky up most any newspaper.
The rats are just pissed they don’t have a 100% monopoly anymore.
They have to share on the internet and talk radio—too bad.

LOL. MTP moved on to their real agenda, promoting Hillary Clinton.

By the way, that Brody fellow on the panel, the token conservative, is pretty much worthless. I suppose that was why they allowed him on.

Leahy: if the WH did not like something you said, Timmy, they could wiretap your phone without a warrant. Even if I wasn’t phoning overseas asks Timmy. Yes, says Leaky.

Just unbelievable. And the program had nothing to do with wiretaps at all.

They both know it too which is too bad because I'd love to see someone come on and tell Timmy, "It's even worse than we thought. They taped your phone conversation with Scooter Libby. You know the one where you..."

A remarkably stupid thing to say for Judy Woodruff to say.

Ah DUH, pretty much any piece of complex legislation “has somethings everyone likes” Problem was taken as a whole, the parts people liked did NOT out weight what they disliked. And the arrogant “Grand Compromisers” simply refused to allow anyone a serious say in what needed changing.

This really is one of the sickeningly stupid habits of the US Junk Media. They simply cannot grasp the reality that the President is not the world’s god/emperor who can snap his fingers and make anything he wants happen.

Guess Judy slept thur her Civics classes in high school. At least she did the day they talking about “Co equal branches of Govt.”

Guess the whole concept

Now they are going to deal with the fact that 52% will not vote for her under any circumstance.

How big an obstacle is that for her in the general election, asks Timmy. LOLOL.

The panel rushes in to tell us how she will be overcoming that little problem.

All of the above, plus it is Bush’s fault that he did not stop the 9-11 plotters in advance of their attacks.

These people are missing the logic gene.

Mara wore that ugly shirt and the large beads on Friday night’s show. Was this segment filmed on Friday, before the Glasgow attack?

I agree. LOL I must not be one of those libertarian minded voters since I don't want more government making my decisions for me ;-)

Amazing.

Juan knows more about how the Supreme Court should be run than the justices do.

I didn’t realize Juan had such expertise.
